Amazon's Kindle for PC

Amazon has released its Kindle for PC for download in over 100 countries. But interestingly, I do not know why it is not available for download in Singapore.

Kindle for PC is downloadable at http://www.amazon.com/KindleforPC/.

However, if you try to download it from the official website, it will display a message "Kindle for PC is not currently available in Singapore".

I downloaded a copy from a Chinese website and installed it. I have not tried to purchase and download any e-book though. Need to test whether the program will work in Singapore.
